AQUAFIN RAPIDFLEX-213 – Non-foaming, hydrophilic, polyurethane chemical injection grout
Description:
AQUAFIN-RAPIDFLEX-213 is a new generation of highly-reactive two-component injection resins used for sealing joints and cracks in concrete and stone. It has been especially developed for injecting against flowing water. By combining a special polymer dispersion with hydrophilic polyurethane prepolymers a material is developed which hardens to a rubbery, elastomeric mass with high tensile and compressive strength and which does not need to be re-injected.
RAPIDFLEX-213 physically absorbs water from the surroundings, which guarantees that the hardened material has a homogenous structure. It prevents the formation of voids resulting from trapped water within its structure and therefore, the material does not become weakened over time.
RAPIDFLEX-213 adheres tenaciously to both damp and dry joint flanks and other surfaces such as concrete, stone, etc. Adhesion is further improved by the formation of a micro-foamlike structure (max. 3 % expansion in volume). The pressure resulting from the expansion creates a waterproof barrier which resists infiltration of water into typical foaming urethane grout products.

Typical Applications:
- For injection of cracks with high water flow in concrete, stone, etc.
- For repair of leaking expansion joints
- For cracks in concrete where movement is expected to occur
